For most supplement brand holders and contract manufacturers, bringing new dietary supplements to market is an inefficient process complicated by:
- Regulations, including cGMPs and the Food Safety Modernization Act
- Disjointed and global raw-material supply chains
- A lack of industry standardization and tools
- Hard-to-find product and ingredient information
- A growing push for transparency by consumers and retailers.
Additionally, managing regulatory compliance and documentation for ingredients and finished products has never been more difficult due to the vast number of ingredients involved, as well as claims/certifications (organic, non-GMO, kosher, etc.). As a result, manufacturers and suppliers continue to increase the information that they share through the supply chain, and the number of resources dedicated to support qualification processes continues to increase.
In this live, one-hour webinar, industry experts will:
- Review the deficiencies and risks that supplement companies are facing
- Share how technology and automated solutions, such as Vitature from Healthnotes, can help
- Share real-life solutions, including examples of how one company, Arizona Nutritional Supplements (and its supply chain) are using technology to tackle compliance and product-development challenges.
